Description.
A pair of porcelain vases with a circular base, flaring mouth and balustraded profile with small reliefs in the form of a foo dog's head carrying a washer in its mouth. The body and neck are decorated in coloured enamel with large lotus leaves and flowers above a fine pond. On the reverse is a long poem written in black and red. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
