Description.
Beautifully carved stone of a reddish hue, with golden flecks. It shows two pairs of birds, arranged opposite each other, joining at the long tail and legs. They show a tense expression, with an upright body, straight head, closed beak and large eyes. The body is richly decorated with incised feather and spiral details. At the top is a circular bowl, covered with patterns of rice grains in relief, and topped with a conical lid. It shows age-wear.
