Description.
Pair of Cantonese vases in pink glazed porcelain with gilt details. The form is of the "Bianhu" or "Moonflask" type with a round, flattened body and a short neck with two arched side handles. The central scenes stand out, which are surrounded by a border of fretwork, butterflies and flowers. On the front the scene has characters in a palace. In the back there is a landscape with birds and bouquets of flowers and peaches on rocks. The rest is decorated with bouquets of flowers.
