Pair of wooden wise men, 20th century

Pair of wood carvings showing the scene of a wise man accompanied by a young boy. The boy, dressed in a long robe, holds in his hands a tall branch from which hangs a small knotted ‘hulu’ gourd. The little boy, with a jovial and playful expression, shows the old man a bat that he has caught in his hands.
