Pair of yellow-glazed porcelain cups, Qing dynasty

Two glazed porcelain cups. The exterior is decorated with continuous incised scenes, one of a fierce dragon flying over a sky of ruyi clouds, and the other a pattern of vegetal motifs with curved branches and flowering chrysanthemums. All of this is covered with a beautiful deep-yellow glaze. Inside both pieces is a four-character medallion ‘永乐年制’ flanked by small animals.
