Description.
Pewter seal or ‘锡器’, with a square base, surmounted by the image of a lion with a fierce gaze. It stands upright on all fours, with its tail and head cocked to one side. The expression is ferocious, with wide-open eyes and large fangs protruding. The sides of the base are decorated with plant motifs in relief.
