Pierre Boudet was born in Versailles (France) on January 27, 1915. He was a post-impressionist painter and lithographer who studied the hand of artists such as Jean-Gabriel Domergue. His main style is pointillism representing landscapes of Paris, Versailles, Normandy and England and floral still lifes.
He held various exhibitions, all of them in France, except for an itinerant Biennial of French painting that toured various North American cities during 1981. In 1964 he received two awards for his work, the Gran Premio de Tossa de Mar and the Girona Provincial Council Award. He passed away on March 3, 2010 in the town of Couture Boussey.
