Description.
Enamelled porcelain. In the centre of the dish is a scene that takes place in a lotus pond, on which there is a wooden platform with three figures. One of them appears to be a nobleman and the others his attendants, who are drinking tea while looking out over the water. This scene is surrounded by two borders of auspicious Buddhist elements. The reverse has carved decoration under a celadon-green glaze. The centre of the base is glazed in white and has a seal in the centre.
