Description.
Porcelain decorated with underglaze blue and white glaze. It has a narrow circular foot and a deep rounded body. Inside is a central medallion depicting a traditional five-clawed dragon with a serpentine body covered with scales and large eyes. This image is repeated on the outside, with a succession of fierce dragons with gaping jaws and sharp fangs flying above curling ruyi clouds, all framed by double blue lines. At the base is a six-character seal ‘大清嘉庆年制’.
