Description.
A porcelain vessel with a circular base and cylindrical body. It is decorated with coloured enamels on and under the glaze. It has four rectangular cartouches on a mottled background that imitates the natural veining of the marble. Each one contains a small floral representation of chrysanthemums, lotuses, peonies and almond trees in succession. All of this contrasts with the interior, which is a soft sky-blue colour. With a four-character stamp on the base ‘乾隆年制’, executed in gold pigment.
Height: 10.5 cm; Diameter: 9.4 cm
