Porcelain brush pot ‘Poema’, with Qianlong mark

A vessel made of modelled and enamelled porcelain. It has a broad circular base on which rises a cylindrical body that is slightly narrower in the centre. It is decorated with ochre-coloured enamels on the outside, which simulate a network of sinuous clouds framing two long poems. The interior is covered with a sky-blue enamel. On the base is a six-character stamp in gold ink ‘大清乾隆年制’.
