Description.
A small porcelain cup with an underglaze white ground, decorated with coloured enamels and gold pigments. Two borders alternating Manchu characters, auspicious symbols and lotus flowers frame a central scene of flowers and leaf-shaped cartouches containing small Buddhas, animals and Buddhist elements separated by long pendants of small beads. The base is decorated with a two-character seal.
