Porcelain dish, blue and white, Ming style

A deep porcelain dish, with a sinuous rim, decorated in cobalt-blue underglaze with Ming-Wanli-style decoration. It depicts in the centre, within a double ring, two deer in a landscape with a pine tree. The rim has lobed panels with Buddhist elements, interspersed by narrower ones, on a blue background. On the reverse are decorative forms with a mark '天启年制' (Tiānqi nián zhì).
