Description.
Porcelain dish with underglaze blue and white decorations covering the surface. The interior shows, inscribed in a double blue circle, the image of a large five-clawed dragon, floating in the sky surrounded by ruyi clouds and elongated flames. It looks forward with a menacing expression and open jaws, and holds between its claws a Chinese symbol of longevity. The exterior shows a continuous scene framed by four blue stripes, of three beautiful phoenix birds with long tails and rich plumage soaring through the sky amidst ruyi clouds.
With six-character seal on the base “大清雍正年制” inscribed in a double blue circle.
