Description.
A porcelain box of circular shape, with a concave lid and rounded profile. The exterior is decorated with an imposing three-clawed dragon with a fierce gaze and an elongated, scaly, coiled body that covers the surface, accompanied by beautiful flaming pearls. The body shows a pattern of cartouches framing vegetal motifs, all executed in underglaze blue and red enamel. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大明建文年制’.
