Porcelain-glazed ‘Landscape’ enamel dish, Qing dynasty

Porcelain decorated with blue and white underglaze glaze. It has a flat circular base with a wide rim. The centre is decorated with a calm landscape of high mountains next to a large lake with a small boat. The rim has a continuous scene of vegetal motifs and small flowers. On the reverse side, long bamboo branches and a central image of a ceremonial ‘Jue’ are arranged.
