Porcelain modelled "Landscape" box, Qing dynasty

Porcelain box with a rhomboid base with rounded edges and a concave lid. It has a curved profile that widens at the rim. It is decorated with underglaze blue and white enamel. Both the inside and the lid show a rural scene, with traditional Chinese buildings, next to a calm lake with fishermen, all surrounded by decorative borders of lace, auspicious elements and geometric patterns.
