Fetish figure of power modelled on Nkondi figures, made from hair, metal, glass, wood and textiles. Considered to be spiritual figures, these ‘hunters’ are charged with protecting their community. The emphasis on the figure's expressions, as well as the defiant posture and the various elements attached to the body, are evidence of the importance and support for his community.
It shows signs of age damage.
