Description.
Pendant made up of a total of one hundred and eight spherical carved jade beads, of a singular reddish-burgundy tone, with ochre and whitish spots, as a result of the patina produced by ageing.
The ‘Malas’ or ‘念珠’, are elements used for prayer in the Buddhist religion, as an instrument of the Dharma that helps the wearer to count the prayers or mantras recited. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
