Description.
A set of four porcelain plates, decorated with a beautiful iron-red enamel on a white glaze background. The front side shows a group of small fish with elongated tails and scaly bodies, while the back side, surrounding the base, has small bats with outstretched wings. Both animals are symbols of fortune and good omens. At the base is a six-character seal ‘大清道光年制’.
