Shousan ‘Dragon’ stone seal, 20th century

A whitish Shousan stone with brown and red spots. It has a tall elliptical base, on which is placed the image of an imposing dragon, with an elongated body lying on bent legs and covered with scales. It has a curled tail attached to the body and a tilted head, with large eyes, half-open jaws and a wide snout. There are inscriptions on the front of the base, and the seal is placed in the lower area. It shows wear due to ageing.
