Shoushan ‘Dragon and Pearl’ stone seal, 20th century

Seal with a square base and elongated body, on which is placed a small dragon with its body curled in on itself, crouching in front of a large pearl. The head, carved with meticulous detail, gazes at the object with desire, with slitted eyes and half-open jaws. On the front face there is an inscription with incised characters, and on the base, a seal in bas-relief, with traces of red sealing wax.
