Description.
Carved Shoushan stone, with a deep reddish and amber colour. It has an elliptical base surmounted by the image of a ferocious dragon, with relief, openwork and carved details. The beast is recumbent, its body covered with scales and its jaws open with sharp fangs. It stands amidst a network of craggy rocks in pursuit of a flaming pearl.
