Description.
An elongated, rectangular seal made of Shoushan stone of a reddish hue with amber flecks. On the upper part of the seal is a carved figure of a beautiful mythical beast standing on its hind legs, with its head turned upside down and its tail tucked in. It has an intimidating expression, with bulging eyes and gaping jaws. One of the sides shows an incised poem. The base shows the seal with multiple characters in bas-relief. It shows patina and slight ageing wear.
