Description.
Carved Shoushan stone, ochre-coloured with reddish and brownish flecks. It has a square plan and a rectangular base, on which sits a depiction of an intimidating seated tiger, with its hind legs bent and its front legs stretched out, showing its sharp claws. He is shown with a serene expression, his head cocked to one side, his ears flattened and his body covered with stripes. With age wear. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
