Small plate of "peaches and bats" famille rose, marked "Shendetang"

Enamelled porcelain of the famille rose with a central branch from which branches grow a total of nine peaches and leaves. Surrounding this is a 'lingzi', a bush, and two bats in flight. The rim is decorated with a line of gilding, partially worn away. On the base, executed in red enamel, is a mark "慎德堂制" (Shèn dé táng zhì).
