Description.
A beautiful gilt-bronze vase, covered with a vibrant cloisonné enamel. It has a circular base and a small rounded belly, crowned by an elongated cylindrical neck flanked by two small circular handles, from which hang movable washers. The base, belly and neck have a light-blue background covered with coloured scrolls of fine branches covered with small and large leaves that grow from large central lotuses. The neck also shows three decorative bands in relief, arranged horizontally, with gold filigree decorations, small flowers and geometric patterns. At the base is an incised five-character seal ‘乾隆年制 本’. Shows age wear.
