Small water container ‘Doucai’, with Yongzheng brand name

A small porcelain vessel with a circular base and a flat base on which the rounded body rises, tapering towards the mouth. 

It is decorated on a white background with underglaze blue outlines by a continuous scene of sinuous, swirling clouds that add dynamism to the scene, made with soft glazes in shades of green, yellow, red and aubergine. A six-character seal ‘大清雍正年制’ is inscribed on the base in a double blue circle.
