Spanish school, 17th century "Parable of the ten virgins"

Oil on panel. It represents an allegory of the "Parable of the Ten Virgins". The scene depicts ten girls, some with oil lamps, awaiting the arrival of a bridegroom. It is set in a period carved wooden frame, consisting of a first pearly moulding, a green polychrome moulding and a flared moulding on the outside. It has slight damage to the pictorial film.
