Description.
Carved jade with a quadrangular profile and cut edges. Decorated on the obverse in bas-relief with archaic taotie motifs of intertwining and interlacing forms, some of which are covered with fine incisions in the form of lines or lozenges. It shows age patina. Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) or later.
