Description.

Limited edition of The Songs of Maldoror (Les chants de Maldoror, French literature, 19th century), by Isidore Ducasse, Count of Lautréamont, illustrated by the renowned artist Salvador Dalí. Ed.l Planeta (2011).

The work is presented in a wooden box decorated on the cover with a screen-printed portrait of Salvador Dalí, with a quilted capitoné interior lined in red silk. It includes: six volumes, one for each Canto with a total of 360 pages with the binding sewn and lined by hand; a folder with a facsimile reproduction of the 11 preparatory drawings and 4 state proofs, plus 1 enlarged double drawing; the study book of the work and finally, a metal plate of iron, treated with oxide, polished by hand.
