Tibetan Thangka "mudra", 20th century

Pigments on canvas, with bamboo imitation frame. The lower part shows a temple on a mountain surrounded by a celestial panorama filled with Buddha figures and five "dharma" wheels. Each wheel is formed by layers of lotus petals and images of Buddha in mandalas framing other figures.
