Vicente Andreu, between 1954 and 1968. Bar cabinet with carved decoration.

Bar cabinet in solid walnut wood decorated with carved panels and decorative mouldings. It has four doors, two on the front and one on each side. The lid lifts up to access the upper box. The interior is lined, with mirrors and glass shelves. The handles are made of gilt metal. On one side is engraved: "Started 1954 / Finished 1968". It is in very good condition.

Vicente Andreu was in charge of the carving section in the well-known Valencian factories Mariano García and José Picó Ramón of handmade and luxury furniture; and a draftsman carver with more than forty years of experience in the making of furniture and sculptures in solid wood carved by hand. Carved and assembled between 1954 and 1968 for his own collection.
