Description.
White jade oil lamp in the shape of a lion with a burner on its back. It is in good condition, shows wear, traces of pigments and patina. The lion has a defensive posture with the mouth showing the teeth. The muscles of the body are elaborated in detail and in spiral form. Other details are engraved. On the back another being holds a burning bowl with lid decorated with a dragon "chi" relief. The mythical beasts called lions were used to ward off evil spirits.
