Description.
A carved white jade plaque with light amber-toned flecks. Slightly arched in shape, it is adorned with a continuous scene of figures arranged in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by trees and mountains, with small traditional architecture and crowned by openwork details of sinuous phoenixes. The piece is set on a pedestal of reddish wood carved with scroll and leaf motifs in openwork and relief. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912).
