White jade ‘Young Man and Frog’ plaque, Qing dynasty

Fine carved white jade plate. Rectangular, with curved edges and an arched top. It shows on the front side, the image of a young man with a cheerful look, dressed in traditional clothes, in the middle of a beautiful landscape and accompanied by a leaping frog. The reverse shows four characters in relief inscribed in a cartouche.
