Description.
Ink and pigments on silk. It depicts the seated Buddha figure, in a rocky landscape with trees, and surrounded by two female servants or followers. Wu Bin 吴彬 was a master of traditional Chinese Buddhist painting who worked at the Palace Painting Academy.
Left margin text written in ink 枝隐头陀吴彬写 and a seal. In the upper corner it has a stamp done in red with a round shape and in the lower right corner a collector's stamp 惕安珍藏. The painting is framed and is in good condition, although the fabric has some flaws due to the age of the piece. On the frame, back, there is a label written in ink stating 吴彬礼佛图真迹 "The authentic Buddhist painting by Wu Binli".
