Wu Hufan (1894 - 1968) "Fish swimming in the lake"

Watercolour, ink and pigments on paper, with brocade frame. It depicts a beautiful scene with fish swimming underwater, seen from above, with some branches of violet flowers at the top. On the right side it indicates in large letters "魚遊春水" (fish swimming in spring water) followed by a text with the signature "畫湖帆" (Painted Hú fān).
