Xie Zhiliu (1910-1 - 1997) "Bird and branch with poem", 1945

Pigments and ink on silk, with a brocade frame. It depicts a bird on a branch with red leaves. On the upper left-hand side there is a text accompanying the image. It is followed by the date "乙酉冬年" (winter of the year of Yiyou), a signature "谢稚柳" (Xie Zhiliu) and two seals.
