Description.
Carved jade plaque, decorated with reliefs on the front, and smooth on the reverse. It represents the figure of a bear whose face has a threatening expression. In the Han period, bears were present on the mountains and the forests, so it was common seeing them represented in the trousseaus. In good condition with patina accumulated from age. Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD)
