Description.
Yellow '琉璃' (liuli) glass, with a carved scene and inscriptions. The shape is octagonal faceted, with a flattened globular body under a high funnel-shaped neck that ends straight. The decoration is located on the belly and is carved. It depicts, on the one hand, a natural landscape with a bird on a branch, and on the other, a long inscription filled with pigment. In very good condition.
In the centre of the base is an engraved mark "乾隆年制" (Qiánlóng nián zhì) from the Qianlong period (1736 - 1795). The following poem is carved on the outside: "紅葩於綠葉中開,蜀錦 夭然出院纔. 盧氏 玳梁飛下者,翻身欲剪意還猜."
