Description.
Yellow jade with subtle golden flecks. It is carved in the form of a beautiful fish, with a scaled body, detailed fins in relief, round eyes and a thick belly, surrounded by an elongated branch of water lily that it holds from its mouth, and whose flower rests in the upper area. The piece is set on a carved wooden base, with openwork and relief details of curling waves. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
