Yellow jade snuff bottle ‘Scene and poem’, Qing dynasty

Yellow jade with reddish flecks, carved in the shape of a small snuff bottle. It has a flat, circular body, decorated with small handles carved on the sides in the shape of a mythical beast with open jaws, and a scene on the front face showing a manned boat, in the form of a dragon, sailing through sinuous waters. On the reverse is a short poem ending with the characters ‘文玩’.
