Yu Feian (1889-3 - 1959) "Sleeping Cat"

Pigment and ink on paper, with brocade frame. On the right is a long poem in ink ending with a signature "非闇" (Fēi àn) and two red seals. In the centre of the lower part is a depiction of a long-haired white cat sleeping on an elaborately patterned cushion. On its head are petals, a moth and a butterfly. In the lower left corner is another, larger seal.
