Description.
This ceramic is modelled and covered with a beautiful cream-coloured ‘Dingyao’-style glaze. It has a stylised body with a circular base, curved profile and broad shoulders, which narrow at the neck to form a flaring mouth. On either side of the neck are decorative ears in the form of a large coiled spiral. The belly shows engraved decorations of horizontal borders decorated with petals and fine flowering branches.
