Carved wooden stand ‘Dragon on ruyi clouds’, Qing dynasty

Carved wooden stand, presumably used for candles or incense. It has a tubular structure with a carved relief image of a large five-clawed dragon with a sinuous body covered with scales that surrounds the piece, flying over a sea of ruyi clouds on a red background. It shows wear, slight flaws and restorations.
