Large Chinese porcelain vase de la Rosa Family manufactured in the nineteenth century. This is a beautiful antique piece, with delicate decoration in soft tones and large. Family Rosa is the name that was given in Europe to certain types of Chinese porcelain, which from the eighteenth century included this color glazes to previous palette of greens, yellows, reds and blues. Currently, the porcelain of the Rose family are highly valued for their beauty and fine decor. This vase is decorated in this style with images of roosters perched on flowering trees and soil.
In the Chinese zodiac, the Rooster is the animal that symbolizes heroism and romance, and is considered the most independent and misunderstood Signs. At the base, neck and mouth of the vase you see represented some abstract type eastern borders of pastel blue, yellow and pink. There is also a valance at the top with fruit images. These details frame the scenes where the roosters are the protagonists, and that are in the body and neck of the vase. The birds are different colors and are drawn from business and spontaneously, appearing in different attitudes: singing, looking at viewer ... Some roosters are on the ground, while others perch on the branches of leafy trees.
As is characteristic of this family of Chinese porcelain, in scenes there is also a profusion of flowers and vegetation as well as butterflies evolve in the air. Both the base of the neck as shown vase feature brand oven, toasted tone produced by the heat generated during firing of the ceramic. The vase has a small hit in the mouth which however does not detract at all its former beauty.
