Description.
A type A natural jadeite plaque, of a soft green colour, with patches of intense green. The carving is rectangular, with a narrow profile and scroll decorations on the lower and upper edges. In the centre is a window-like opening, in which is inscribed the image of an archaic-style phoenix's head in relief. Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912).
