Pair of enamelled porcelain bowls ‘Swallows’, with Tongzhi mark

Two small porcelain bowls, circular, with a short foot on which rises a rounded body that expands towards the mouth. Decorated with delicate coloured enamels depicting a continuous scene of swallows in flight over a landscape with lotuses in bloom. It shows on the base a six-character seal ‘大清同治年制’ in underglaze red.
