Description.
Two enamelled porcelain dishes of different sizes with blue and white underglaze decoration. The smaller dish has a fine border with geometric motifs, followed by three large butterflies accompanied by leaves and chrysanthemums surrounding a central flower framed by a fine circle. The larger-diameter dish shows a central flowering branch surrounded by a double blue circle that is repeated on the rim. The reverse shows a brown glaze on the outside and a white glaze on the base. One of them is marked in blue under the glaze. Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912).
